These campaigns helped us to control the over-production to great extent. Today of course we are constantly helping to keep the unowned stray animals under control by neutering/speying by our association's veterinary.

During the course of time other municipalities in the Bodrum Peninsula conducted rabis vaccination campaigns in coordination with our association.

Since august 2000, our association has its own veterinarian. This veterinarian is working full-time at the shelter/clinic, his duties consist of neutering, treatments, various operations, vaccinations and overall running of the shelter.

In 2001, for the first time in Turkey, our association's veterinarian did some neutering for both owned and stray cats and dogs, free of charge during campaign periods.

Nowadays we only help the homeless/stray animals who try to survive in the streets of Bodrum working hand in hand with the Bodrum Municipality.
